QLD:Bligh to speak on Qld flash flood disaster

BRISBANE, Jan 10 AAP - Queensland Premier Anna Bligh will address the media on Monday
night about the deadly flash flooding that's hit Toowoomba and other communities west
of Brisbane.

Police say at least four people died in extreme flash flooding in Toowoomba on Monday.

Lockyer Valley communities, at the foot of the Toowoomba range, have also been hit hard.

The Department of Community Safety has issued an emergency alert for more flash flooding
in the Lockyer Valley in the next few hours.
