NSW: Decision on Hazelton's fate due on Monday
The administrator of regional carrier Hazelton Airlines says the airline will be placedinto liquidation on Monday if a bidder isn't decided upon.
Administrator MICHAEL HUMPHRIS of Sims Lockwood has scheduled a creditors meeting forMonday to decide the fate of the carrier.
The airline was placed into administration following the initial collapse of Ansett,which bought the airline after a bidding war with Qantas.
When Ansett collapsed in September, a separate administrator was appointed and Hazeltonwas ultimately able to resume flying on almost all its routes.
The bidding for Hazelton Airlines has come down to two companies, Australia Wide andInland Marketing Corporation.
