Fed: Govt defends anti-terror ist mailout
The government has defended a special $15 million anti-terrorism mailout as the rightway to inform Australians about the world's changed circumstances.
Australians will soon receive a detailed booklet, a letter from Prime Minister JOHNHOWARD and a terrorism hotline fridge magnet.
Mr HOWARD says despite the complaints of some, the mailout is a way of keeping peopleinformed about the threats to Australia.
