FED:Anti-whalers still on Japanese ship
MELBOURNE, Jan 13 AAP - The handover of three Australian anti-whaling activists from
a Japanese ship to a Customs boat sent to pick them up has not yet occurred, Attorney-General
Nicola Roxon says.
The federal government is sending the Ocean Protector to pick up Geoffrey Tuxworth,
47, Simon Peterffy, 44, and Glen Pendlebury, 27.
The three men, part of the Forest Rescue organisation, boarded the Japanese whaling
security vessel Shona Maru II off the coast of Bunbury on Saturday night as part of ongoing
protests against Japanese whaling in the …
